How it works

A simple process, so you always know what comes next.

  1. Tell us about yourselfFill out a short intake form so we understand your background, timeline, and goals.
  2. Send your draftsUpload your drafts to a private folder that only the two of us can open.
  3. Get written feedbackWe review your drafts and return detailed comments and suggested edits.
  4. Meet with usIn a one-hour session, we go through the feedback together and answer your questions.
  5. Revise in your own wordsYou make the changes. Your application stays yours from the first draft to the last.

How we work

The commitments behind every session.

Your voice stays yours
We give feedback, ask questions, and suggest edits. We do not write your essays. An application should sound like the person submitting it.
Honest feedback
We tell you what is working and what is not, and we explain why, so you can improve the next draft on your own.
Private by default
Your drafts and personal details are stored in a private account and are seen only by the two of us.
No guarantees
Admission depends on many factors outside any consultant's control. We help you present your strongest, most authentic application. We cannot promise an outcome.

About us

We are current medical students. Our work began when we helped a friend turn a flat set of application essays into a strong, personal one, and we have kept that approach ever since.

Frequently asked questions

Will you write my essays for me?

No. We review your writing, give feedback, and suggest edits. The words and the story must be yours, and medical schools expect that.

Can you guarantee I will get in?

No, and be cautious of anyone who does. We can help you improve how you present your experiences. Admissions decisions are made by the schools.

What if I need more than one hour of meeting time?

Additional one-on-one time is available at $50 per hour. You can add it whenever it is useful, including after your first session.

Are these prices permanent?

No. These are introductory prices, and we may raise them as we take on more students and gain more experience.

How do I share my drafts?

After you complete the intake form, we set up a private folder for you. Only you and the two of us can access it.

Who is this for?

Anyone preparing a medical school application: current undergraduates, gap-year applicants, and reapplicants.

Are you affiliated with a medical school?

No. We are independent consultants. We are not affiliated with any school, admissions committee, or the AAMC.
